Toshishun

This week I read Toshishun.Toshishun was a young,poor man living in Tang.
The mean of Tang was what China is.One day he stood near the West Gate.
Then suddenly an old man appeared in front of him.Actually the man was a wizard.He said "what are you thinking?"to him.Toshishun answered that because I don`t have any place to sleep tonight I was wondering what I should do.Listtening the word he said special thing.that was to dig the ground where a shadow of your head falls on.He dug a hole in the dark of night and found much money.
he became the richest man in the city.However,he spent too money doing everything to have a little.He repeated this thing three times but he found out that a rich not necessary spend happy life.And he asked the wizard to make him his follower.The wizard said if you said nothing during I take my mother to show you I would make you my follower.Then he left.
Toshishun was waiting for him with his mouth closed.Suddenly A lot of strange things happened to him.Those were the temptation by evil spirits.
He said nothing,so at last the evil spirits took a final step.That was to bring his parents and hurt them     in front of him!Of course this was a phantom but he did not put up with the action.He said "Mother!".
As a result he did not become the follower but understood the most important thing.
He want to only live a good and simple life.The wizard walked quickly away but then turned to him and said "I have a little house in the south,on Mt Taizan.It in yours,along with the fields around it.The peach trees there are pretty at this time of year".

Although I  read this book first time,I was very impressed with Toshishun`s growth.
I want him to become happy because he found out the most important thing.

Homes Around the World

This week I read Homes Around the World.
In this book a lot of home is explained from old home to current.

About 50000 years ago people lived in caves and then about 5000 years ago people started to build homes.These were different from what it is.Modern homes are made of man-made materials like concrete,bricks,plastic,and glass.
However,a lot of homes made of natural materials exist around the world.
For example,in hot deserts the temperature is very hot in the day and cold at night.People build houses with mud and grass because where there aren`t many trees or rocks.

I read this book and know many sort of homes all over the world.Rich people can live in wonderful house but it is difficult for poor people to live in anywhere.This is a serious issue because it obviously suggest difference of social.

To solve this problem people should help each other internationally I think.

The USA

This week I read The USA.
This book describe the beginning,the Civil War,and culture of USA.Acording to this book America was a colony for the first time.
There were therteen colonies along the east coast
of North America,and they were all governed by Britain by 1770.But in 1775 Americans fought a group of British soldiers in Massachusetts.


Thought the colonies didn`t say that they wanted to be fully independent until the summer of 1776 Americans became to wanted to being releasd.
After Americans won the war in 1781 they were free to govern themselves.In 1789 they made George Washington hteir first president.On this ocation America regained a lot of states and becane a big country.After that,the Civil War broke down and Many Americans died.As a result North defeated South in 1865.

The nose

This week I read The nose.This story was written by
 Akutagawa Ryunosuke.

The main hero`s name is Zench,and he is spriest.He have a very long nose enough to reach his chin.Since he always think about his nose one day he started something to make his nose shorter.
The way to put his nose was into the hot water and it was taken out and stepped on again by the young monk.

Owing to this act,his nose became shorter than before.
He was happy to figured out his nose became shorter.
Zench thought no one would ever laugh at this nose.
Regardless of his nose was not doing anything special,he felt that he was more laughed at by everybody than before.
He was injured and he hoped that his nose return to former his nose.

One day in the morning,he felt old familiar touch in his nose.
He though Now,no one will ever laugh at me again.


We all feel sorry for a person who has had luck,then we began to feel that we have lost something,
something that was important.In a way we would like to see the person have bad luck again.

Whale Danger!

This week I read Whale Danger!
This story is set in the Arctic ocean.

There are Beluga whales.
Beluga whales are very social animals.
Their relationships with the whales around them are very strong so A mother and her calf will often swim together for three years.


On one day,when the tide goes out one young beluga has gone too far onto the shore.The young beluga moves around on the shore to return the sea but only the rock cut its skin.Adult belugas can only watch and wait as the calf tries to move.That time,the water begins to move. With one last energetic push,the young beluga is free!At last, it`s able to return to the sea and join the other whales in the deep water once again.



Whales is the biggest mammal in the world.

It may seem like the beluga whales have a very happy life,but they are often put in danger suddenly.We need to think a solution to help such a whale immediately.

Self-introduction

Hi,my name is Ayaka Ichimura.I go to Gakushuin University.I`m in the first grade.
I major in English and American literature.

I live in Saitama with my family.
My family is father,mother,grand father,grand mother and two sisters.
My father is a police officer.He is strict sometimes but I look up to him.
Also my grand mother and father run bur bur while they are over seventy.
I think they are tough very much.

I belong to pottery club.
I have thought I want to make a tableware since I made a cup by my self first time.
I want to make a lot of tableware in the club.

My favorite pop idol is Arashi and favorite member is Ninomiya kazunari.
He plays a teacher in new TV drama on every Saturday.
I`m looking forward to watching the drama.

My dream is to be a English teacher,so I want to study English hard in this college.
